The ETF’s Leadership Development programmes, funded by the Department for Education, are led by Sir Frank McLoughlin CBE, one of the leading voices in the Further Education (FE) and Training Sector. Download our brochure for an overview of all Leadership Development programmes.
The programmes have been developed with key experts in the sector and from the world of leadership management. This includes key partners such as Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and the Chartered Institute of Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
In our role as the national workforce development body in the Post-16 Further Education and Training sector, these ETF programmes are aimed at the full range of leaders from leading colleges, independent training providers and adult community learning providers.
The programmes are designed to ensure that the today’s sector leaders have the skills and development opportunities they need for their organisations – whether they are governors, CEOs/Principals or Chief Finance Officers.
Developing tomorrow’s sector leaders and ensuring there is sound succession planning is equally as vital. Hence why we developed a programme for those who will become a CEO/Principal in the next few years alongside middle manager courses which are in development. Sir Frank McLoughlin CBE, sets out the importance of this programme in the Times Educational Supplement.
We also have a range of clerks’ courses for those fulfilling those roles at colleges and a governor recruitment service.
